Then crawl back in to your second skin.

It remains unclear.
I follow familiar voices, & then disappear.

& Pretend that I’m not there.

Where the dead walk and the living fly,
Where no one ever tries to find me.
Where I can be free from it all.
Burdens,
I don’t want to know, just let me die complacent.
Deep within my mind,
The walls are barricaded.
I’m condemned to this wasteland.
