Trevor and our guests were very lucky to see this unusual sighting whilst on safari. A pride had hunted and killed an adult giraffe. Sadly one of the lions died in the attack and can be seen here. The video includes a clip from days later when the vultures found the lion.
Vultures are very important "cleaners" of the natural ecosystem, ensuring that the nutrient cycle continues.
