Welcome to a new series on the channel! I've gotten into DDR recently (recently being a year ago) and wanted to try out the hardest courses Konami has to offer! I'll be going through all the hardest Oni/Nonstop courses of all the PS2 console releases for both the US and Japanese games. There don't seem to be a ton of people doing these on YouTube, so I thought I'd showcase them myself! I'll be doing them in chronological order, starting with MAX US (MAX JP doesn't have courses).
HARD CORE is the longest course in all of DDR, with 21 songs. MAX US definitely has the weirdest courses I've ever seen, with a bizarre mix of Basic, Difficult, and Expert charts. There are a handful of tricky songs in here, like I'm For Real, Rhythm and Police, Electro Tuned, Matsuri Japan, and Candy. But for some reason, Max 300, the hardest song in the game, is not in here. Strange.
I've AAA'd True Trance Sunrise Mix BSP once in these attempts, but unfortunately not in this one. Electro Tuned is just an awful chart in general, especially with the one off-sync measure at the start. I actually almost choked so hard on the ending, so I'm glad I still got it. Oh yeah, Darude Sandstorm.
