Analogue TV in most parts of regional Queensland, Australia came to an end at 0900 on 6th December 2011. This is a recording of Channel 0, part of the WIN TV Network, which broadcast from Mt Mowbullan, near Toowoomba.
It was formerly known as DDQ-10 in the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
No special presentation was made. The transmitter was turned off at 45 seconds before the deadline. It's been replaced by a digital channel in the UHF band.
