Hear the memories of D-Day from the people who lived through it, at Fort Nelson’s new exhibition – D-Day: A Portsmouth Story. The new display features the planning of Operation Overlord through to the events of D-Day and the quiet days afterwards in Portsmouth.

A new museum trail featuring ten silhouettes of local people, standing alongside war-time pieces from the Royal Armouries collection, is also now on display at the Victorian fort
