Need to understand D&D 5e spellcasting? Are you an absolute beginner? We've got you covered. The 5th edition magic system is pretty complicated because it deals with a LOT of exceptions. There is little (almost nothing) you can say that doesn't have an "except for this class which does it differently."

In this video we go through the entirety of D&D5e spellcasting and magic, with as many analogies as we can muster (listen we did our best, okay?). We hope that this in depth look at spells, spell slots, spell components, spell attacks, spell saves cantrips, and even how the different classes use magic differently is very helpful!
