****Important Clarifications (updated 3/26/2026):
Alternator capacity: My 2024 F-350 6.7L with 2kW Pro Power Onboard has a 12V primary alternator (≈250A) that powers the truck’s 12V systems and my DC-DC chargers, plus a separate 24V secondary alternator (≈157A) that is dedicated only to the Pro Power inverter. The DC-DC charging data and duty-cycle numbers shown in this video are from the 12V primary alternator only. Always verify your specific vehicle’s alternator ratings with your VIN and consult a qualified shop before modifying.
Cable note: At one point in the video I misspoke and said “2/0 cable” — it should have been 2 AWG cable coming off the battery to the Andersen plug.
