The Batman Beyond Terrific Trio were meant to be heroes, until the truth broke them.
After a lab accident left Magma, Freon, and 2-D Man unstable and dying, they turned on the system that created them. But their story didn’t end there.
DC planned a follow-up comic titled Triage, where the surviving members attempt to bring Freon back from the dead… using Batman as the power source.
The issue was written. Pages were drawn. And then it vanished.
Cancelled over fears it pushed too close to the Fantastic Four, the story was lost for years… until now.
