Phew, that was a tough one! 10 exhausting funky minutes.. :)
I believe every true chili peppers fan has to know this jam which is one of their best ever. So its basically a medley with some of their songs and some covers (Funkadelic/Parliament/Jimi Hendrix..), and this was recorded at the VPRO studio in 1990 (link bellow).

This time Im playing along Dont Give Hate A Chance from the album Dynamite. I think the bass line was composed by 3 musicians, Alex Meadows, Randy Hope-Taylor and Derek McIntyre.
Not sure about it so dont take my word for it; Still it sounds as good as it gets!
