Thomas Wayne as Batman is one of the more beloved elements of the Flashpoint storyline, which kicked off the New 52 reboot of DC Comics, as well as the animated adaptation, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, which launched the DCAMU movies. The character was originally expected to appear in the DCEU with The Flash movie, but was instead replaced by Michael Keaton as Batman, along with the inclusion of Supergirl.
