A Funkadelic Funk parade with a cannabis contingent still high from DC's Marijuana's decriminalization parade along with high school marching bands and assorted pranksters. Muriel Bowser DCs Mayor is delighted to be part of the Funkster crowd, even honoring the Grand Master of the Marijuana decriminalization movement initiative, Adam Eidinger, with a green necklace, which she ritualistically placed over his head in a crowning clowning sort of way.
The Funk Parade named in part to honor the grand master of Funksterism, DCs very own George Clinton, and his band "Parliament and Funkadelic" which created that new funky sound that combined the rhythm of neighborhood percussion with psychedelic euphoria.
