I've been wanting to make a dbz space themed amv for a few years now, and after watching Interstellar, I got an idea to make it with a song from the movie.

Space and time are being distorted, which leads to some what-if situations. However, not all is what it seems, so you have to figure out when space and/or time are being distorted. As a hint, there is no space or time distortion after 0:53.

READ PLOTLINE AFTER WATCHING:
We first see Goku, Bulma, Gohan, and Krillin traveling through space to get to Namek. We see that Trunks is traveling in the same direction in his time machine (neither space or time distortion). Goku sees Frieza dying in outer space (in the future), who he doesn't know yet (space and time distortion). Even Bardock (time distortion) and Vegeta (no distortion) are traveling through space. Bulma then sees Goku on top of his spacecraft (space distortion). Bulma, Gohan, Krillin, and Vegeta land on Namek and start to deal with Frieza as Goku continues to train in space. As Goku trains, we see Vegeta shooting asteroids in space (time distortion). After Goku arrives, Frieza starts killing everyone in front of him. This turns Goku into a SSJ. Frieza blasts Namek's core, starting the short countdown until the planet blows up. Gohan sees Trunks landing his time machine and leaves Bulma to go see what is going to happen. Trunks slices Frieza in half and Goku blasts Frieza from above. However, they have no time to leave the planet, and yell in anguish as it blows up.

Some notes about making this amv:
The first shot with Bulma playing the piano was and idea from a first draft of a MEP part from a few months ago, so I decided to make it work in this amv. I wanted to keep the amv purely instrumental, which is why I didn't add any quotes from dbz. I practiced using radial blur in conjunction with linear blur for the zooms. Surprisingly, I just learned about overlays, so I threw a few in for fun. For some of the masks, I practiced using curved lines instead of choppy straight lines (which looks a lot better as I now know). The "real" space shots are from the movie Interstellar, which is where the song is from. And lastly, this amv gave me an opportunity to show off some cool, slow shots from dbz that would never work in an action amv.
