Messing around in training mode and I found that things can get really weird when the camera stops scrolling up.
The most consistent method I found was to do a 5H, followed by a 2H, and super dash. Set the opponent to mid-air tech forward and counter with H+S (super dash) to make your character fly up in the air. When you block in the air, you get your air actions back. Allowing you to super dash a second time without hitting the ground.
Many characters need to add a slight delay between 5H and 2H, some characters have to find a different way to connect the two moves entirely (such as Videl, who's 2H is highly vertical)
At a certain point, once the camera leaves, things get weird. It seems that you're no longer able to gain height. This leads to a few interesting outcomes.
- Most characters can link j.2H into ki blasts or special moves where they wouldn't normally be able to
- Goku Black can link j.2H into j.236M (character techs before they land)
- Kefla can't land her j.236H+S at this height
- Goku can combo into Super Genki Dama by himself
- Some camera jank, No. 21's opponent disappears during her "Sticky Energy Blast" grab (no matter what stage she's on.) Blue Goku's opponent also seems to disappear before his level 1.
All of these were performed on Cavern, as it's the only stage with a modeled ceiling, as far as I could tell. It leads to funny instances of the ceiling obscuring certain animations (such as Tenshinhan's Shin Kikouhou.) However, this works on any stage.
Mess around with it yourself and tell me if you find something I missed!
