Subscribe for more DayZ Tips: Barrels don't have collision hitboxes in DayZ, but you cannot place traps inside them still. However, you can place bear traps and landmines right next to barrels and throw items to cover them without triggering, making for an alluring loot trap which can not only giveaway a players position, but slow their escape too. #dayz
