The 1.28 Update is now available across all platforms, and we sincerely hope this makes for a great, well-rounded summer update for you. It ranges from new firearms and scopes to improvements with weapon handling and vehicle synchronization. Though it’s only the second update this year, we feel we’re already making great strides!
1.28 brings:
- The return of a much-beloved firearm: the RAK, from our legacy days.
- A new "shotty" king: the R12.
- Three new scopes, including the Marksman Scope 10x (the longest-range optic in DayZ).
- Improved synchronization for vehicles.
- Refined weapon-lifting mechanics.
- Upgraded scope overlays.
- New sounds for select non-automatic firearms.
- New dynamic medical events for Sakhal (DayZ Frostline).
- Helicopter crash sites for Sakhal (DayZ Frostline).
- New dynamic military and fishing boat crashes for Sakhal (DayZ Frostline).
- And much more.
We hope this proves to be quite a list!
Whether you'd like to cruise in a Sarka along Chernarus' coastline, battle in the tight corners of Livonia's bunkers, or hunt heli crashes amongst the snowy hills of Sakhal - 1.28 has you covered!
