DAY26: Try to imitate someone else's style.
Why does the day have to be over so soon ;___; *cries* I was so into this video! But unfortunately my indecisiveness regarding song & anime made me start too late again x__x I wanted to do something with Mako & Haru from the start (but not with this song). I was watching the third season of Free this morning, but then I was disappointed to not have good enough scenes..so then I changed the song & anime, only to see that it would't work as well, so I went back to Free and changed the song AGAIN (I was lucky to find this song to be honest - lucky pick :D)!! Then it was 3pm already x__x I hate that about the challenge!
But a really cool thing was that I was able to take inspiration from an amazing editor =) And that is Virgi (hanon33)

She always puts so much effort into her videos. You definitely need to subscribe to her!! She's part of SHS & I'm super glad that she joined us again last year! It's been such a blast with her ♥ So THANK YOU, VIRGI (if you're reading this:D:D)
I focused on three of her videos & copied the effects like crazy :D:D For the fonts & overlays I just looked for something similar because it's impossible to get the exact same thing :D I had a lot of respect for this challenge because once you found your style to edit, it's hard to change that. I mean, Virgi's style is not a 180° turn, but I still had to look for how to do the effects specifically!!!

This happens when I listen to a song that hits me really hard! INSTANT editing ideas - BUT: I only have my crappy laptop with me right now, so this turned out super basic :D Im surprised the result was rendered on the first try without any complications (even though I used MagicBulletLooks (at least SOMETHING NICE TO USE :D))! Also, I dont have my thumbnail template with me, so this thumbnail is just a placeholder :D
Dont get me wrong: I really like the outcome! The other day I thought that I should try something easy & reduced, so this was a great opportunity to try this out! Looking for the scenes took me way too long, since I needed to redownload the episodes I wanted to use xD At least I had access to my screenshots that I sent Tynas on discord - boy it was still a lot of work to find the scenes, but so funny! Tyna, were texting a lot :D
Doesnt this song fit Sawamura PERFECTLY????? He is becoming the greatest after all!! He went through hard times, but he keeps improving and working for his goal! Im so happy to be finally able to edit with season 3!! Im sure I couldve added other scenes or made it even longer, but time is limited xD Of course I found a way to squeeze Miyuki in this as well ;) What would Sawamura be without Miyuki? Still amazing, but its better with Miyuki, right? ♥

Heres the first part I completed this year. I had the honor to be part of Tynas new crossover MEP! At one point I said that Ill definitely use Rei/Amuro/Bourbon in the next crossover part Ill do, so here we are! Since I love Juvia a lot as well, I coupled him with her ♥ Arent they adorable?
I had a lot of fun creating this part - the scene selection took me some time, looking for the best scenes to put together for the manipulations, but thats what I love most! Editing the rest was a joy as well!

Hey guys!!!!
Whaaa, this is my longest video ever :’D HERE ARE 102 MEP parts I’ve worked on these past years!!
I think most of you already know the occasion for this collection – it is to remember that we LOVE our OWN editing ♥
This is SOOO important because for all of us AMV editors there has been a day on which we STARTED with this hobby & learned to LOVE IT. And that’s why it should be FUN to do this & we should APPRECIATE the results :)
For me personally, it was a BLAST to put this together!! From time to time I like to go back the memory lane & watch my old videos & MEPs & other favorites! YouTube definitely gave me a chance to be creative, to find friends & create these unforgettable projects with them ♥ I’m super thankful for that!!
So why not take this chance and show you ALL OF THESE PARTS? :D I hope you have fun! I certainly had :3 For me, it’s not only the result which makes me like the parts, but also the things I connect with them – each one of these videos has a “story” which makes it individual. Ahhh, now it gets really sappy :D Let’s just say that I enjoyed this a little more than I should’ve :D:D
One thing that I feel should be mentioned: I didnt put as many newer parts into the collection, since I uploaded EVERYTHING very recently - dont worry: I DO LOVE MY NEW PARTS AS WELL :D But the collection is already awfully long as it is :3
