We're taking a day trip from Hiroshima today to visit Miyajima! We travel from Hiroshima Station to Miyajimaguchi Station then take the JR ferry to the island. We visit the shopping street, then taken the ropeway (cable car) up the mountain to the observation deck. After taking the ropeway down, we visit the beautiful Itsukushima Shrine which floats over the water, the tide was out so we got to walk around the gate and view the shrine at night!
