Today we're visiting Arashiyama, a town to the west of Kyoto. We check out Otagi-Nenbutsuji shrine which is covered with small stone statues overgrown with moss, we then walk over to Daikaku-ji, an important temple complex during the time when Kyoto was the capital of Japan, before heading to Tenryuji, a temple with an amazing and famous garden. We check out the Bamboo Grove quickly before crossing the Togetsu-kyō Bridge and eating at a small vegetarian / vegan restaurant. Thanks for watching!!!
