I misspoke about the studio behind this remaster, Double Fine Productions. They haven't been shutdown, but they are independent from Microsoft now, which may be a blessing for them. As for the game itself, it's on quite a few platforms, but only GOG and Steam on Windows. It also runs on OS X, iOS, Linux, PS4, Vita (weird) and XBox as well.
