This is the music featured in the trailer for "Day of the Departed", the upcoming Ninjago TV special set for release on October 29. The trailer utilizes a heavily edited rendition of "Meet the Elemental Masters", a track first played in episode thirty-five, "The Invitation". A link to the original piece is below. I tried my hardest to get the music as close to the trailer as possible, and I think it turned out great. Some of the transitions between different segments were rough - this isn't as noticeable in the trailer itself due to the sound effects and dialogue covering up the music. Here, the rough transitions are more noticeable, but in the end I don't think it's an issue.
The trailer itself reveals a ton of awesome things, yet so much remains shrouded in mystery. We're treated to some glimpses of returning villains, such as Samukai and Morro, as well as other small details - such as the Condrai Crushers (with fake Anacondrai driving them) and Yang's Floating Temple. I've got one question: how in the world are they going to fit all this into one episode?! Day of the Departed will be an extended episode, but is that even enough to include all this? We'll have to wait and see! Stay tuned for the long-awaited episode on October 29. Enjoy the music!
