Build a simple pose-switching rig — with just a dropdown!
In Day 9, we add control to our animated hamster by creating a flexible pose system using Automation Blocks for After Effects.
You’ll learn how to:
✔️ Set up a rig with multiple pose layers inside a precomp
✔️ Use the “Dropdown to Show One of Selected Layers” tool from the Community Library
✔️ Add the dropdown to Essential Graphics for timeline control
✔️ Keyframe poses or control them independently across comps
✔️ Create smart rigs without expressions or manual opacity work
