Authorities in West Memphis, Arkansas, are searching for escaped killer, rapist, and kidnapper Joshua Zimmerman. During the early morning hours of July 28, Arkansas State Police conducted a comprehensive aerial sweep of an area of interest located just minutes from both Tennessee and Mississippi.

⇥ Interstate 40 and Interstate 55: Vital arteries for regional travel that may be used by Joshua James Zimmerman to move quickly between areas. Special attention should be given to any suspicious activities along these routes.

⇥ West Memphis Shopping Areas: Including zones around Southland Drive where stores like Dollar Tree and fast food outlets like McDonald’s and Domino’s Pizza are located. These areas are highly frequented and require extra vigilance.

⇥ Broadway Avenue and Missouri Street: These streets host a variety of businesses and residential complexes, making them significant areas to monitor for any unusual behavior.

⇥ Regions near Tenmile Bayou and areas south along I-55: Given Zimmerman’s potential need for hiding spots, less populated and rural areas should not be overlooked.

Zimmerman, listed at 5’11” and approximately 210 pounds, is believed to have shaved his beard since his escape and is considered extremely dangerous. Do not approach.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to Zimmerman’s arrest.
