Day 40 of my European adventure on the BMW R1250GS. First stop – the mighty Nehaj Fortress. Built to defend the coast… but today, it just defended me from boredom.
Down by the waterfront, I spot a gang of tiny motorcycles lined up on the jetty. Naturally, I had to stop and investigate. Turns out, even the bikes in Croatia take coffee breaks. Speaking of which—I joined them for one. ☕
Then it’s back on the road, cruising along the coast and up into the Slovenian mountains for some epic scenery (and a chance to stretch Betsy’s legs). The day ends at a guest house where I reward myself with a proper meal and a few well-earned beers. Fortress stormed. Tiny bikes admired. Mission accomplished.
