My goal is to raise awareness for Coccidioidomycosis aka Valley Fever: a disease caused by a fungus, Coccidioides, which lives in the soil of relatively arid regions (southwest U.S.); its incidence is increasing [MedicineNet.com]

Today is the day I see the specialist! Also, in this video I'm just explaining my symptoms as the day goes on from morning to evening on 1/29/15.

DIAGNOSIS

The Pulmonologist also agreed I have Valley. Nodule and cavity in my left lung. Need to monitor that with X-Rays possibly monthly to see if it goes down/away. As of right now, I need to be on the medication (Fluconazole) for also six months - possibly a year, depending on recovery and test results. Because of that, I need to have monthly tests on my liver to make sure the medication isn't damaging it.
