This week I had to step back because of a back flare-up from overtraining. Sitting for long periods was aggravating it, so recovery became part of my practice.
I didn’t complete every 30-minute sit.
I also didn’t stop practicing.
That’s the lesson I hope this meditation challenge leaves you with.
We meditate to building a relationship you can return to through every season of life.
Some days you’ll have 30 quiet minutes.
Some days you’ll have five.
Some days your practice is simply listening to what your body needs instead of forcing another session.
Awareness is beyond what happens with your eyes closed. It’s expressed through the choices you make when life changes your plans.
If you’ve missed a few days, don’t spend energy trying to catch up.
Just return today.
That’s how practice becomes something you can carry for years, not just for 30 days.

Breathe and Flow offers a functional, yoga-inspired approach to movement and conscious living.
Led by Bre and Flo Niedhammer, our work blends strength, mobility, breath, awareness, and philosophy into practices that support real life, not just time on the mat.
On YouTube, you’ll find a library of classes and practices you can explore freely. Inside the Wolfpack membership, practice is held within a clear path, shared rhythm, and ongoing guidance.
This is yoga as a way of life, grounded in the body, shaped by awareness, and lived over time.
