I am going to try something that probably hasnβt been done before: over the next period Iβll be daily streaming replication of Metaβs NLLB project making it fully open source.
Itβs gonna be fun (Iβll regret this sentence I know it :P)
This time though itβs different. This is not a solo project, and I encourage anyone passionate about this to join and contribute! I'll soon create a dedicated repo as well.
In todayβs stream Iβll be first reading the recent SeamlessM4T paper & later Iβll go through the codebase (fairseq2 & the actual repo).
Part 2 is a continuation of part 1 because my cam died on me :)
