Finally got back to trying to get to grips with the Oneiroi. This is the first jam on which I felt able to get close to integrating it into my regular workflow, and it’s still not quite there yet. I don’t have a full mental model of the filter and resonator just yet but I’m getting a lot more out of the echo and reverb than before. Things stayed super simple on the Syntakt. I played for a couple of hours before I finally hit record, and truth be told some of the slower transitions I was doing while droning before that were perhaps better than the perhaps slightly rushed stuff I did once I pressed record.
PS: I’ve put a stereo compressor at the end of my chain on the XR-12, any comments on that definitely welcome.
