Pius App planned a perfect day for a hike on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. From Davos, Switzerland we took the Parsenn funicular up to its first section stop at Höhenweg where we began our hike. We passed by Schiahorn and on to Strelapass where Markus App operates the Strela-Pass restaurant. After a light lunch we hiked back down to Pius’ Schatzalp. Our highest elevation was about 7,700 feet (2,353 meters), and total hike time was about 5 hours including our stop at the restaurant.
