In this Fusion tutorial (DaVinci Resolve), we'll build a 3D text with a clean inner border — no external plugins, just smart boolean operations.
By default, Fusion centers the border on the text outline. We'll use a series of subtractions to isolate the inside of the text and the inside of the border, then extrude each part separately before recoloring them individually.
We finish by using a Material ID to apply a glow limited to the border only, plus some lighting to bring the final render together.
