A very rare white 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO (Series I) Scaglietti Berlinetta from the collection of David Lee, Chairman and CEO of Hing Wa Lee Jewelers and well-known Ferrari collector, arriving at and leaving the 2026 San Marino Motor Classic at Lacy Park, where it won the People’s Choice award. This car, chassis no. 3729GT, is one of 36 250 GTOs built between 1962 and 1964, nine of which were configured in right-hand drive. Now dubbed the “Bianco Speciale”, the Ferrari Classiche Red Book certified car was acquired by Lee for $38,500,000 ($35,000,000 plus fees) at the Mecum Kissimmee auction in January 2026. It was recently displayed at the 2026 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance during Monterey Car Week, where it received the Tony Hulman Trophy for the most significant race car.
