The road to success isn’t always a clear and smooth path. We are all being tested in life and those tests aren’t easy for any of us.
Many people assume that Goggins go into things without thinking but it is quite contrary.
When David Goggins finally pulled my head out realized what I truly wanted in life, I had to sit back and think about what it would take for me to get there. He had to measure his want.
What that means is I had to ask myself “What am I willing to put myself through to achieve it? What am I willing to give up in order to achieve it?”
David Goggins went all in on me. I knew that there would be a lot of bumps and bruises along the way. Some over-use injuries and a lot of dark times. But, for me, it was all worth it. Goggins want was so great that he didn’t give a f*ck what it came with. Sometimes your want isn’t that great and doesn’t warrant that kind of dedication.
It makes some people feel good to think that goggins is all fucked up. It’s almost like I-told-you-so type shit. See, David goggins ran too much, didn’t rest enough, etc. While Goggins's body is f*cked up and I have had my fair share of injuries, I’ve always worked myself back and my body still works better than most healthy bodies because my mind is trained different than most.
