This is a memory video of me going back down to Davenport, Iowa to have a celebration of life for my mother who passed unexpectedly last spring during this time. My sister, her husband, my niece and nephew and I stayed at a Vrbo rental of the guest house of a historic mansion overlooking the Mississippi River! We ate dinner the first night at Happy Joes and caught a beautiful sunset leaving! We then headed to get ice cream at Whitey’s, a Davenport staple for ice cream. We then headed across the Mississippi to Rock Island to sit around a campfire at a friend’s house. Woke up early and got some drone shots of the mansion and river before heading to the celebration of life for my mom. Lots of friends and family showed up on a beautiful day, mom would’ve loved it. Afterwards we all went to Ganzo’s for food and conversation! It was good to see all the friends and family that came out for mom, she would’ve been so happy to see everyone!
