Set against the historic backdrop of Schloss Schönbrunn, the Vienna Philharmonic’s annual Summernight Concert is one of the world’s most distinguished open-air classical performances.
Since 2018, GLP has been proud to play a role in this prestigious event, working in close partnership with the organizers to create an exceptional visual experience. In 2025, over 400 GLP fixtures illuminated the stage, including the impression X5 IP Maxx, S350 Wash, X5, FUSION X-PAR, X5 IP, CREOS, and MAD MAXX CW. Under the direction of lighting designer Jerry Appelt, the production achieved the precision required for both a live audience and an international broadcast reaching more than 70 countries.
