Hey guys! So I plan to keep to the one video a week schedule but this is actually I vid I had started a while back now and I kinda gave up on but I decided to go back to it since I don’t usually like having unfinished projects and I gotta say I’m really glad I did because I’m actually super proud of the outcome; I want to also say at the time of editing this I had not seen Pyrosyncs version; I was aware of its existence but I didn’t watch it in case I subconsciously stole something from it!
Upon watching it I think it’s an awesome vid and if you haven’t already you should check it out.
I wanted to make a heavy emphasis on the story of the vid; a lot of scenes are shown in almost their full (edited to match the song) I chose to focus mainly on Beth and Merle, Beth since she was like a little sister to Daryl and Merle… well he’s his actual brother lol. Also I’ve done plenty of Rick and Daryl vids in the past so I wanted to switch it up. I’ve been really experimenting with the colouring of the vids the last couple uploads I think it adds a lot to them and make the vids better.

I had the idea for this video all the way back in February when my friend and fellow editor @TrophyProductionsTP made a Rick tribute with the song, he did such a good job with it and it inspired me to make a version for Daryl in the same style as his video! As every Walking Dead fan should know this song was used in Season 2, it was used to kinda represent Rick and Shane in that scene and I think it’s such a perfect song for the two in the moment and somehow over the series I feel it begins to work just as well for Daryl as his importance grows and grows.
This was a surprisingly hard edit to make, maybe because I was rusty after not editing him for so long but I am very proud of the end result and really hope y’all enjoy it too!
