When Renee Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent, the violence didn’t stop at the scene—the story-management started immediately. In this episode, I talk about how “domestic terrorism” gets used as a label to justify force, erase victims, and train the public to accept state violence. Black women have seen this pattern for generations: harm happens… then the narrative comes to finish the job.
I also share what we do with all this as Black women: grieve without confusion, protect our nervous systems, stop doomscrolling, choose our role guilt-free, and stay connected—because isolation is where fear wins.
