In this video we're cooking up some tasty Thai food - Thai fried chicken wings and glass noodle salad with pork. DARRENB3 LIVE STREAM. November 9 2025.

The Recipes
THAI FRIED CHICKEN WINGS (PEEK GAI TOD)
1 kg of chicken wings
50 ml soy sauce
2 Tablespoons tempura flour
1 cup of oil

1) Put a cut in the top and bottom surface of each wing.
2) Place the wings in a large bowl and add the soy sauce. Mix well to ensure the wings are all coated in sauce and then leave for 20 minutes.
3) Add the tempura flour and mix well.
4) Heat the oil in a pot until hot and then add the chicken wings.
5) Cook until done.
6) Serve with streamed rice and sweet chili sauce (or dipping sauce of your choice).


GLASS NOODLE SALAD with MINCED PORK (YUM WOONSEN MOO SAP)
250 grams minced pork
40 grams glass noodles (Bean vermicelli noodles)
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
2 to 6 chilies (depending on your preference for spiciness)
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 of an onion (sliced)
2 leafy stalks of Chinese celery (or regular celery), cut into 2.5cm long pieces
3 tablespoons peanuts

1) Soak the glass noodles water for 5 minutes.
2) Add the chilies and garlic to a mortar and pestle and pound until they are small pieces.
3) Drain the glass noodles then add to a pot of boiling water and boil until clear and tender, then drain and set aside.
4) Add the pork to a pot of boiling water and cook through.
5) Add lime juice, fish sauce and sugar to a large bowl and mix well. Taste and adjust the flavour to your preference.
6) Add the chili and garlic mix, celery to the bowl and mix well.
7) Cut the noodles into 50 cm long pieces, add to the bowl and mix through.
8) Drain the pork and add to the bowl and mix well. If the mix appears dry, add a little of the water that the pork was cooked in.
9) Add the peanuts and mix through.
10) Enjoy :)
