Senator Darline Graham prevailed in a Republican runoff to replace her late brother Lindsey Graham as the GOP candidate in South Carolina’s US Senate race, aided by heavy support from President Donald Trump. #southcarolina #trump #usa #news #politics

Graham led Representative Ralph Norman 52%-48% with about 90% of the vote reporting, according to a tally by Decision Desk HQ, after Trump flew to the state to headline a rally in support of her.

Graham will face the Democratic nominee, pediatrician Annie Andrews, in November, with Andrews criticizing Graham as offering “unwavering loyalty to a deeply unpopular president” and questioning what she will do after Donald Trump is no longer president.
