On November 25th, 2025, members of the Saturday Free School's W.E.B. Du Bois Reading Group presented a program titled 'Darkwater: Narratives From Within the Veil' at Lucien E. Blackwell Regional Library in West Philadelphia.

The program featured readings and interpretations of poems and essays from Du Bois's 1920 work Darkwater, written during a time of world crisis. The event also celebrated one year of this public reading group meeting at Lucien Blackwell Library.
