I've always been a big fan of Mega Man music. Spark Mandrill is quite possibly the most epic of the X series' theme songs (next to Storm Eagle).
I am playing the lead and solo on this, but the backing track was done by bboynoe. For the solo, I used an octave shifting pedal (similar to a Whammy pedal) to get the sound I used. I think it is pretty fitting, sounds a little retro.
I know the solo isn't perfect, nor is every single note of the song (it's a pretty freakin' hard tune!). I suck at sweep arps, so there's a few times where I nail them perfectly, other times I screw it up. I spent probably about 10 hours total trying to get this to be the best I could possibly get it.
