As we kick off Black History Month and embark on a journey of honoring our cultures and exploring our identities, Pastor Jermell shares the importance of reclaiming the goodness and beauty of darkness. That while society shaped by white supremacy has and continues to demonize that which is dark and black, the creation account in Genesis teaches us that darkness is where God is moving and at work; and that darkness itself is sacred, holy, and has the power to bring about life.
