As promised, here is my definitive list for the Top 10 weapons in Dark Souls. I have tried to make it objective via a scoring system based on game data, but the intangibles that make us fall in love with a particular weapon are also counted. I am sure this list will be controversial, not for what it includes but for the weapons that did not make it. But I am willing to engage in jolly and lively debate through the comments and messages, and I think it is superior to my previous ranking.
