Bandai Namco invited me to try out their upcoming ‘Dark Souls: Remastered’ title a bit early, so now we can get a better understanding at what the game will look like!

I was allowed to show only the very start of the game so don’t worry about spoilers. I travel from the undead asylum to the hellkite drake bridge, enjoying the updated visuals along the way!
Although the base game will be exactly the same, I’ve been hearing (and seeing) a few minor changes such as being able to consume multiple souls at a time, customisable button mapping and enhanced volumetric lighting are things we can expect.

►Original game = 720p / 30 fps / 1-4 players / DLC sold separately
►REMASTER = PS4/XBOX1/PC – 1080p, 60fps, 1-6 players, DLC included. (PS4 Pro + Xbox 1 X have upscaled 4k. PC has native 4k (2k textures). Nintendo Switch = 720p handheld, 1080p TV mode, 30 fps, 1-6 players, DLC included.
