The fifth part of a "No Deaths, No Bonfire" playthrough recorded in late 2014 on the PS3 Black Armour Edition of Dark Souls II.
This was one of several practice runs, in which I successfully completed the game without a single death or use of a bonfire, while trying to bring the created character to a point that I could consider to be more of a complete build.
The desired end result was to be able to not only to obtain both Illusory rings from a playthrough and complete (or come close to completing) a specific build type, but eventually do so with only a single weapon. Unfortunately I didn't quite get around to starting a proper "No Deaths, No Bonfire, Single Weapon" playthrough.

The emphasis in this video was on duelling and one-on-one fights. I chose not to place any kind of strict code of etiquette upon myself, so my opponent healing, or healing myself was not an issue, provided I did what I could to keep the fight as a one-on-one.
