Dark Souls can be made much easier with the right build, strategy and tactics for progressing through the game in a very specific and systematic way. Strong sorcerers can cast very strong ranged attacks from distance, making battle much easier than up-close melee especially early in the game. This series is going to serve as my case for maintaining a single difficulty level in future "Souls" games. Feel free to follow along and comment on your experience. Is this build truly an easy mode of playing the game?
