We finally reach Anor Londo, the realm of the lords. We are treated to a spectacular view of the shining city. We converse with the Lady of the Darkling, Gwyndolin, Gwynevere and have fighting words with Smough and Ornstein. I give you my take on why the firekeepers shall never meet and the tie between Smough and the butchers of Blighttown. Gwyndolin and Gwynevere offer covenants and finally we learn our purpose, to supplant Lord Gwyn and link the fires. However, their dialogue is full of inconsistencies. According to the Ring of the Sun Princess, Gwynevere left Anor Londo some time ago. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark!
