Dark Souls 3 Vordt
Here I take on Vordt of the Boreal Valley, putting my new Gundyr build to the test. Vordt is the test second boss fight in the game. The game is on NG++ (honestly easier then first playthrough).
Vordt of the Boreal Valley wants to keep players from pursuing their quest to link the fire. Vordt acts as a sort of gatekeeper. The only way to progress through the story is to kill Vordt and that's what we are gonna do.
The Vordt battle is a fun. From has designed Vordt to act as a good barometer for what players can expect from future Dark Souls 3 bosses. This boss gave me a good bit of trouble in my first playthrough.
While often frenzied, the easiest approach is to get behind Vordt and deal massive damage. The fight really caters to nimble builds, so fighting him as Gundyr was no problem.

Gundyr Halbred
