Oh my fucking god... You have no idea how hard this boss was. Since I decided to get rid of the shield ring since it was making everything too easy, I put the ring away in favor of other things. I also tried out a few new weapons, all better than the Astora Straight sword, so rip that too I guess. Now about the fight itself...
By god the 2nd phase is a fucking RNG nightmare. Depending on Friede's mood, you'll either get her spamming ranged attacks from a distance (which is best case scenario) or she hides behind Ariandel, hits you through him because hitboxes and refuses to get off his dick. Other than that though not insanely tough, in fact it was only my 2nd time getting to phase 3 (however I did get hit a lot so still room to improve). Overall pretty fun but very challenging.
