The hornet ring increases damage on critical attacks and changes the animation during a critical attack when performed on humanoid enemies. This was also the case in Dark Souls 1 and the Great Club had this famous animation that you see in the video. I just started dueling in the pvp hub today and couldn't resist to share this with you guys.

Thanks for watching. The first weapon I used in PvP in Scholar Of The First Sin. You can buy it from Straid of Olaphis after defeating the invader Forlorn five times. In my build, you can see I have a lot of dexterity although the weapon has bad scaling for dex. The reason for this is for the extra bleed you get from dex. Moreover, this weapon, unlike the Mastadon GS, has 110 counter strength which is an upside. I never showed my dark build in this video but I played with it a lot, you dont gain significant dark damage when you pump both faith and intelligence. Infusing it bleed was the most effective thing from what I tried.")
