Yes, two-handing Havel's Greatshield is totally viable and funny at the same time. Try it out yourself to see. I won 90% of my fights.

More info on the build:
- After getting 40 str points to hold the shield, put the rest of the points in vigor, vitality, and endurance
- Use the Havel Ring, Cloranthy Ring, FAP Ring, and Prisoner's Chain
- The most important thing about this build is proper spacing and patience; know when you can trade hits or when you should block
- You can punish most attacks with a running r1
- The stability on this thing is just insane, use it to your advantage
