Seething Chaos has to be true proof that something which doesn't work (outside of a rare instance) in arena can work very well in invasions. I had no doubts that I could fool someone into getting hit by the explosion in invasions just how many I could get.
Despite swapping from Caestus to the Target Shield to do setup parries and never landing them I am happy that I made the switch. Having stamina to roll, attack, or even try another parry with after messing things up is a huge benefit. I did manage to get my first setup parry in these invasions though, will need to continue practicing if I am to get more of them.
Really wish I had a mace on hand when I ran into PipDog though.
